Can a tenant use a third-party check for annual rent payments?

In Dubai, tenants can technically use a third-party cheque for rent payments, but this is subject to the landlord's discretion and approval. While there is no legal prohibition against using a third-party cheque, it is important to note the following considerations:

2. Risks Involved:

  • Potential Issues: One of the main risks associated with accepting a third-party cheque is the possibility of the cheque bouncing due to insufficient funds or other issues related to the third party. This can lead to legal consequences for the tenant, as the responsibility for rent payment ultimately lies with them.
