Yes. As a Golden Visa holder you can sponsor your immediate family, and the terms are more generous than a standard residence visa.

Who you can sponsor

  • Your spouse
  • Your children, with no age limit
  • Your parents and your spouse’s parents
  • Up to 3 domestic helpers

Where it beats a regular visa

On a normal visa, children age out at 18 and you have to keep renewing. The Golden Visa removes that:

  • Sons over 18 can stay sponsored
  • Daughters over 18 qualify whether married or not
  • No re-sponsoring when a child turns 18

Documents you’ll need

  • Marriage certificate for your spouse
  • Birth certificates for your children
  • Proof of relationship
  • Medical fitness certificates
  • Passport copies

Financial side

  • No minimum salary is required to sponsor family
  • You’ll show your property ownership documents
  • Health insurance is required for everyone on the application

What the family gets

  • The full 10-year residency, in step with yours
  • The right to work or study in the UAE
  • Access to healthcare and education
  • Freedom to travel in and out of the country

How it runs

  1. Get your own Golden Visa issued first
  2. Apply for the family visas once yours is in hand
  3. Complete the medical tests for each member
  4. Get Emirates IDs for everyone
  5. Register with the relevant authorities
